Clearlake Mini-Adventure 120626

Time was spent with Tempo (age 10 weeks).  He loves to have his belly rubbed. He knows "come here" and "sit" and is starting to get the hang of potty training.

We played Mini Golf in Clearlake.  Ted had the best score followed by Andreas/Ben Johnson, Juliette, and then Tom. Devin played some golf and got to go in a bouncy house plus ride on an animal go cart.

We went on a very nice kayaking trip.  Saw lots of birds and the wind helped move us along.  Unfortunately the track did not save correctly on the iphone.

We also checked out the new Mt. Konocti County Park hiking trails.  Here is our track and elevation profile.  We went first to Wright Peak and then to Buckingham Peak.  We tried to signal Ted down in Buckingham, but there were too many trees in the way.

The view from Wright Peak was beautiful and reminded us of a similar hike in New Zealand.

Buckingham Peak had nice views of the lake.

We came across a rattlesnake on the way down (~3 feet long).  It saw us as it slid across the road, but did not start rattling.
